  Love their jerk chicken, cabbage cornbread and spicy beef patties! They give you pretty large portions. They've been my favorite Jamaican restaurant for the last few years. I go here a couple times a month. Love their punch they make too.

  Customer service horrible!!!!
  Wait 10 minutes and no service.
  I hope the food is much better than the POOR SERVICE!
  We walked out without ordering.

  So I guess I'm spoiled by my hometown(L.A. Lame Athens, Ga.) Jamaican Restaurant. I compare food from other Jamaican spots to mine....b/c it's soooo delicious!
  
  So for this review I gave it a 3 stars b/c of one particular reason...I'll get to that later. My man and I went here yesterday, 4-14-19 for lunch around 12ish. I thought they were just opening b/c a lot of food wasn't ready, however, I learned later that they opened at around 11am. We waited at least 30 mins before our food came...I said at least 30 mins...maybe more. I ordered Jerk chicken with white rice and cabbage and an extra side of mac n cheese which is just what I said...extra..an extra charge, that is. Oh well, I wanted it so I paid for it. He ordered Ox Tails, rice and peas, and cabbage and a fried dumpling.
  
  My plate of food wasn't anything to write home to Mama and Daddy about, it was mediocre. The Jerk chicken wasn't spicy like I expected, the white rice was just that...white, plain, no taste rice. The cabbage was ok. Now, the Mac n Cheese wasn't good at all..it reminded me of box mac n cheese, with just a lil' bit of "spicing up". Disappointed to say the least. His plate of food, he enjoyed. I tasted his fried dumpling(singular..one dumpling) and it tasted like hard bread! Huh? Is it supposed to taste like this?
  
  Now on to the reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2....
  That Island Punch that they serve IS OFF THE CHAIN GOOD!!!! OMGG!! Now this punch is so good, it makes you want to slap your Mama, Daddy, GrandMama, GrandDaddy, Brother and Sister!!! Yep!! It's that good!(Didn't know something to drink could be that good, huh?!!) So good that I inquired about the price for a gallon of it. It's a bit expensive though, so I might just have to pass on it. But the next time I'm there, I will make sure I get 2 cups of it!! So good, y'all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here just to taste that Island Punch!! I've been thinking about it all day!!! LOL!!! It's that serious!!

  I have a appetite for Jamaican food and I always make it my business to seek one. This spot sits on the cities Westside where many other great food can be found at! I dare anybody to go there and once you have your taste of good food. You will always know where good food is. Try this out I'm pretty sure you will love it!

  Man... I'm right now wishing I could teleport myself back to this place for some bomb ass Caribbean food.  
  
  Please try it. Everything was on point. You know when your food is so good you don't even have anything to say... you're just bouncing around dancing in your chair happy as fluff that this amazing sensation is taking place in your mouth?
  
  Yup that was this place. Got the jerk chicken and oxtails. So damn good. . Idk why I'm torturing myself right now by thinking about food I can't have. I wish I would have taken a picture but suddenly I was eating and when I stopped to think about it ... too late.
  
  I can't comment on the service. I got to go. The food tho - 5 Stars.
